This is a lasting tribute, dedicated to the memory of my big brother, Lee. He was born October 17th 1971. He was the eldest of 6 children. On December 21st 2007 after a great Christmas night out, drinking & dancing with family and friends, Lee was taken from us tragically in a road accident outside the Alhambra/Odeon, Bradford, aged 36 years. He was hit by a car. Hundreds turned up to say goodbye to Lee, he would have been overwhelmed by the attendance at his funeral and wake. His service was a celebration of his short life and what he had achieved in that time. He was very a sociable, fun loving guy who was well liked.
The dearly cherished and loved son of Danny and Mary, loving brother of Steven, Michelle, Sharon, John and Belinda, a extra special daddy of Leona and Kacey, a dearly loved Uncle to Dominic, Kyle, Taylor, Jade & Jordan, brother in-law to Darren and the late Chris Bannon, a nephew and cousin. Lee comes from a very large family and he was particularly fond of his dear cousin Phil Hurd.
Lee lived for his two daughters. He was a very good daddy to them both. May he continue to watch over them as they grow up. ★~x♥x~
A lifelong friend of Tony Hoodless and Mary Shaw and also a good friend to many others including his ex-partner of 16 years and the mother of his two precious daughters, Sorya, she is Lee's lifetime and one and only true love.. ★ ~x♥x~
I want to also mention Julie Allsopp whom Lee was with for about 2 years and Hayley, Lee's last girlfriend.★ ~x♥x~
Lee was a hard worker who over the years had a few different jobs, he enjoyed dancing and socialising either alone or with family/friends around Bradford City Centre & the "bottom road(Halifax Rd)". ..~x♥x~
★Lee liked to dance to modern songs/tunes but always held a passion for 80's music ♪♩♫ . Lee wasn't much a sports fan although he was fit, he did enjoy throwing a few arrows playing darts, a fan of Phil Taylor and Barney, he also liked playing pool in the local pubs..☆~x♥x~
He loved his holidays abroad, especially, Benidorm with the lads. Lee liked his beer, to which many of the holidays were about, boozing. He was partial to a good few pints of Stella. A fan of spicy food, like kebabs and curries and anything with garlic in it. ★~x♥x~
He loved to take pride in what he was wearing outside of work too, always smart, neat and tidy. He loved wearing his big clothing brands too, like Rockport, Animal and Lacoste etc.☆~x♥x~
Lee was a thrill seeker, he loved white knuckle rides like rollercoasters etc, he was the one who introduced me to them too, my very first ride on the Revolution at Blackpool..★~x♥x~

Lee was laid to rest on 2nd January 2008 ★
The Inquest on 9th September 2008 delivered the verdict as a ~ Tragic Accident & Lee died due to multiple injuries & rib/skull/chest/ fractures.★
Long will he be missed but never be forgotten. ★
We will all miss his broad cheeky smile and his abundance of jokes. ★
He was a cheeky chappie, a loveable, charming rogue who loved and lived his short life to the full. ★
